Foot reflexology

The soles of our feet have an extraordinary number of nerve endings it’s not always possible to stimulate by walking. Find out how reflexology can help with foot health.

What is it?

Reflexology is a special massage technique based on the
stimulation of specific areas of the feet
mapped to certain organs in the human body.

What is it used for?
Foot reflexology can help stimulate internal organs, restore psychophysical balance, detoxify and relieve nervous muscular tension. It’s great for relieving anxiety and stress.

What does a session involve?
A session lasts approximately one hour and is carried out with the patient comfortably lying on a massage table with their head slightly raised. The therapist applies pressure and massages with their thumbs on selected points of the foot following a map of the reflex zones.

How many sessions are needed?
The practitioner will suggest the right quantity based on the type of problem the patient has. Generally after at least 5-6 sessions you may start to see results.
